Medical Miracles Foundation LLC – Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
Medical Miracles Foundation LLC (“Medical Miracles Foundation,” “we,” “our,” “us”) operates https://medicalmiraclesfoundation.org. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information obtained through our website. By using our site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
This policy applies to information collected online through https://medicalmiraclesfoundation.org.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate our services and manage user accounts:
- Account Registration Data: When you create a login account, we collect your email address (used for password resets and account security), your username (used as your login identifier instead of email), your alias name, and your country of residence. Your country of residence does not allow us to use any type of detailed geolocation information and is simply for the purpose of knowing general country information to understand where testimonies and prayer requests are coming from so we can better understand our global outreach.
- Alias Name for Testimonies: Your alias name is stored with your account and, unless you opt to submit a testimony anonymously, it will be displayed publicly with any testimonies or prayer requests you submit.
- Testimony / Prayer Request Content: We collect the content of any testimony or prayer request you submit, which may include limited health-related, religious, or other sensitive information if you freely provide it in your submission. During submission, your consent for its public posting is explicitly captured. You may post anonymously when designating your public post submitter information, or you may choose to use the alias assigned if you created an account with us. Testimonies are collected and posted publicly for the sole purpose of glorifying God through accounts of healing and faith, and to pray upon submitted prayer requests.
- Technical Data and Security Logs: Our hosting and security providers (including firewall and anti-spam tools) may automatically collect limited technical information (such as IP addresses and request headers) for security and operational purposes. This information is retained only as long as necessary for these purposes.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: See Section 7.
We do not intentionally collect geolocation or city/town data. Such information is only received if you explicitly include it in the content of your testimony or prayer request.
By submitting city/town data or any other personal information within the testimony or prayer request that you submit, you acknowledge that you are making it publicly available and that you assume full responsibility for the content you disclose. Medical Miracles Foundation LLC does not request or require health or sensitive data and disclaims any liability arising from the voluntary disclosure of such information provided by you.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of any personal information you disclose, including your choice of alias or username. We do not verify the identity of contributors and are not responsible for false, misleading, or impersonated submissions. If you believe someone has impersonated you, contact us immediately at admin@medicalmiraclesfoundation.org.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data under the following legal bases:
- Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), 9(2)(a)): When you voluntarily create an account, submit a testimony, or provide sensitive data (e.g., health-related or religious information). At the time of testimony submission, we explicitly collect your consent to publicly publish the information you provide in support of Christian faith-based healing testimonies. By providing such consent, you also acknowledge and agree that Medical Miracles Foundation LLC assumes no liability for any voluntary disclosure of sensitive or health-related data you choose to include and that you grant Medical Miracles Foundation LLC a royalty-free license to publish your testimony “as is.”
- Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): To comply with applicable laws.
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): To maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.
- Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)): To provide and manage your user account and respond to your requests.
We do not sell or share personal information as defined under U.S. federal or state privacy laws.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Operate and secure user accounts: Email addresses are used for password resets and account notices; usernames are used as your login identifier.
- Publish testimonies and prayer requests: Your chosen alias name will be displayed publicly with any testimony unless you opt for anonymity at submission.
- Respond to inquiries or requests.
- Improve website functionality, security, and user experience.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties, and we do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to refuse or remove any testimony or content at our sole discretion, including if it contains defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful material. We do not accept responsibility for the accuracy or truthfulness of user-submitted content, which remains the sole responsibility of the individual who provided it.
Users may choose to submit testimonies or prayer requests anonymously. In such cases, we may be unable to verify the identity of the contributor or to provide individual follow-up correction or notification. By submitting content anonymously, you acknowledge that we cannot identify or contact you and that your rights with respect to such anonymous submissions may be limited.
If you submitted a testimony or prayer request anonymously and would like to request its removal, please contact us and provide the approximate date, time, and time zone of submission along with the text you submitted. We will attempt to verify the submission against our records and, if reasonably possible, will remove it. We cannot guarantee the removal of anonymous submissions, but we will make good-faith efforts to accommodate requests when adequate identifying details are provided.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
In addition to the public display of testimonies and prayer requests described in Section 4, we may share personal data with third parties only as necessary in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Hosting, security, analytics, and form-processing vendors under strict written data protection agreements provided by such vendors.
- Legal Authorities: If required by law or to protect our rights or safety.
- Some of our service providers (such as website hosting, backup, and security vendors) may store or process personal data in the United States or other countries as part of their normal operations. Medical Miracles Foundation LLC itself does not independently transfer personal data internationally; however, we rely on the safeguards provided by those vendors (such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable) to protect any such data.
6. Data Retention
We retain data as long as necessary for the purposes described within this Privacy Policy or as required by law.
Testimonies remain published until you request deletion. Backups of existing online testimonies are retained for a limited period (e.g., 30 days) before being securely deleted.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
If you posted content anonymously, we may be unable to locate or verify your submission for deletion. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests if you provide the approximate date/time of original submission and the text of the submission, but we cannot guarantee removal of anonymous content.
If you request deletion of your account or data, associated information will be removed from active systems and, in accordance with our backup-retention schedule, will be removed from backups in the future as well.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies that are necessary for the basic operation of our website (such as security, login sessions, and form functionality).
We may also use limited analytics cookies to help us understand general site usage and improve performance. These analytics are not used for advertising, profiling, or selling data.
You can adjust or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Some content or features on our site may be provided by third parties (such as embedded videos, maps, or social media sharing tools), which may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies and are not responsible for their use.
If you disable cookies through your browser, certain features of the website may not function properly.
8. What Rights You Have Over Your Data
You have the right to access data you provided to us when you created an account on our site. You have the right to:
- Access and delete any data you submitted to our site by logging into your account with your credentials.
- Request deletion (“right to be forgotten”) of your account and related data.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
Because testimonies are reviewed before publication, users are not able to directly edit or update previously submitted testimonies themselves. If you need to change something, you may request deletion or log into your account and delete your prior submissions yourself of a prior testimony or prayer request you submitted. If you choose, you may submit a new testimony or prayer request.
If you submitted a testimony or prayer request anonymously, we may be unable to identify or verify your submission to honor access, portability, or deletion requests. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests if you provide the approximate date/time and text of your submission, but we cannot guarantee removal of anonymous content.
To exercise these rights, contact: admin@medicalmiraclesfoundation.org or log in to your account. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request.
This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 16 (or the applicable age of digital consent in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors without parental consent. Submissions made by minors without parental consent are prohibited and will be removed promptly upon request of parents, guardians, or appropriate authorities. We disclaim liability for any disclosures made by minors who bypassed this requirement.
10. Security
We take website and data security very seriously. We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect personal data. These measures include encryption, secure hosting environments, access controls, regular security reviews, and other fine-tuned security measures.
However, no system or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, even though we have taken extra measures to implement special, highly sensitive, and fine-tuned security measures. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for restricting access to their devices. Medical Miracles Foundation LLC accepts no liability for unauthorized access to accounts that occurs due to weak or compromised passwords, device loss, or user negligence.
We keep minimal account information as collected during registration and take reasonable measures to safeguard it. We also rely on the security practices of our hosting and service providers, who maintain industry-standard safeguards.
